As photonics manufacturing and other advanced manufacturing technologies mature in the public/private sector, MS/MEng and PhD graduate students need to rapidly master emerging standards. IKIM provides a range of learning and apprenticeship experiences for training in advanced photonic integrated circuit design, including teaching packages for co-designing university-level courses, attendance at conferences that bring together industry and the nation’s leading academics, participation in the industry’s integrated photonics roadmap, and certification from the IKIM boot camps.  In 2020, IKIM began expanding its offerings beyond photonics.
